Veni Vidi Venti†

I'm dizzy.‡

Job offer. BIG decision. Frighteningly big. Excitingly big. Dizzyingly big. Upsettingly big. Not-sleeping-tonight big.

I need a Magic 8 Ball, like, now.

FOOTNOTE (crossed): I came, I saw, I drank a really big coffee?

FOOTNOTE (double-crossed): And blushing. Guess how often that happens.

Wow! Are we gonna get clues, or a treasure map or something to figure it out?

Now I can't sleep!

Um hello....details please?
1. you should totally trust us internet friends to make big decisions for you - it is the way of the interwebz....
2. me fears a move is in the air and it will be like I missed opportunity so close and yet so far away kind of thing.
3. Really - go with your instincts - I find mine are always a little uncomfortably accurate.

Whatever you decide, it's nice to asked isn't it? Enjoy that.

It is. It's really nice to be asked. It's an embarrassment of riches, really -- what my friend Ange calls "white girl problems."

You know, Minty, if I let you guys make this decision, it would take a LOT of pressure off me. And fear not, the job is right here in Denver. No move required.

Kim, if you think you're not sleeping...

Thank you, Kari. You make me feel like a rock star, which beats the "pinch me, I'm dreaming" bit.

So...you're saying it was big?

On pins and needles, awaiting your decision.

OH, so exciting -- I can't wait to hear all about it once you've made up your mind.

And you'll get to move your office . . . again!

*whew!* I thought I was being too subtle about the bigness of it all, Laurie. And I don't know why my comment thingy is so pissy with you. I like you tons.

Y'know, Nathan, one of the problems (if you can imagine) is that it is so exciting. I'm dorkily afraid I'm so flattered and excited that I'm missing some big, ugly mutant elephant in the figurative room.

But thank you for being excited for me... it's happy-making to have friends excited for me.
