OMG... O M G... omgomgomgomg

John Cusack is going to play Edgar Allen Poe.

I knew all this sainthood shit would pay off eventually and I would be rewarded.

Booyah!

I'm so glad we can all ride on the tails of your saintly robes and enjoy your rewards as well...

I'm glad you're happy about the Cusack casting --- me, I'm just really jazzed about the new blog layout!

It's times like this I'm reminded in a very concrete way why y'all are the best imaginary friends a girl could have.

I'm glad you like the new look, Kim. I got really tired of the last one really fast. Clearly, I've been tweaking over the past 24 hours, but I think I'm going to sit here for a bit and see how this one works for me.

Hands off Cusack. He's mine.

I believe we've finally found the trigger to Canadian aggression. And it makes perfect sense to me.

I'm not sure I'm on board with the Cusack thing. He's too . . . soft, and doughy, to be a proper heroin-addicted goth poet.

I say no sir, NO SIR!

He's older, craggier - and most of his last roles have been darker and more dramatic. I still hope.

Of course, if he plays Lloyd Dobbler as E. A. Poe, it's going to be a nightmare the likes of which the House of Usher never saw.
