How Wagnerian

*ringring* *ringring*

"This is Marin."

"Hello, I'm trying to reach Griselda."

"I'm sorry, you have the wrong number."

I could *totally* rock "Griselda."§

FOOTNOTE (crossed): I didn't know Griselda was a real name. I thought it was strictly the province of children's books.

FOOTNOTE (double-crossed): Usually, I'd try to figure out if they were actually calling for someone in the company and had just dialled the wrong number, but I feel confident that if there was a Griselda in the building, I'd know about it.

§FOOTNOTE (swerved): Griselda Elizabeth Untiedt has *such* a ring. Which is a pun, though an obscure one.

If there was a Griselda in the building, you'd be friends by now, except for that whole name stealing thing.

True... and it may end in a Lifetime movie about the stolen identity and how I had to kill her to keep her quiet.

Probably best there isn't a Griselda in the building.

"Auntie Griselda" was a Monkees' song. That's where my education in the arts was.

You have the Monkees and I have Wagner. Let's meet at ELO and have a cocktail!

Good point. I'd like to hope I could steer people toward "Zelda."

My father would always call me Griz, though. I just know it.

Does anybody else hear "Ride of the Valkyries" playing in the background?
